Are You a Camouflage Expert?

Many spiders have the ability to blend in with their surrounding habitat. This ability is called camouflage.

Here you will find five spiders with various backgrounds to "hide" them in. Try each spider in a different background to discover why camouflage is so important to the spider.

Once you have found the perfect background for each spider, ask someone to find the spiders you have hidden.

How well did you do? What characteristic allowed each spider to camouflage itself? Was it color? Shape? A pattern?
